Glenn could make return in key AFC battle

Associated Press

FOXBORO, Mass. -- New England Patriots wide receiver Terry Glenn was listed as probable for Sunday's game against the New York Jets -- which would be his first action in seven weeks.

The final decision on whether to play will be up to Glenn, who has been sidelined with a sore hamstring.

Glenn was outstanding in the only game he played this season, catching seven passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in a 29-26 win over San Diego. That followed his four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

This is a crucial game for the the Patriots (6-5), who trail both the Jets (7-3) and Miami Dolphins (7-3) in the AFC East.
