Shockey, Strahan back at practice

Associated Press

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Tight end Jeremy Shockey and defensive end Michael Strahan practiced Saturday in the New York Giants' final workout for Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Strahan was held out of Friday's workouts after his back tightened up. His movement was limited in the Giants' last game Oct. 13 because of back spasms. New York was idle last week.

Shockey has been out since getting turf toe at Dallas on Oct. 6. He missed the final three quarters of that game and the week's game against Atlanta. He has been very limited in practice this week.

Strahan is listed as probable for Monday. Shockey is listed as questionable.

Guard Jason Whittle, who has been bothered by back problems since the Dallas game, did not practice again this week. Dusty Zeigler will start at right guard for the second straight week.
