Pace likely out 2-3 weeks, will have MRI

ESPN.com news services

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Orlando Pace will likely be sidelined two-to-three weeks with a torn hamstring, head coach Mike Martz said Monday.

Pace is scheduled to undergo an MRI.

"Obviously, a devastating blow," Martz said Monday.

Martz said running back Marshall Faulk likely will play next Sunday against the Chiefs. Faulk ran for 29 yards in Sunday's 10-3 loss to the Eagles after missing two games with a high ankle sprain.

"Marshall got out of the game in decent shape," Martz said. "He is a little sore, but I would think we would have him this week."
