MINNEAPOLIS -- Kansas City Chiefs running back Priest Holmes tied
Emmitt Smith's NFL record for rushing touchdowns in a season Saturday, scoring his 25th against Minnesota.

Holmes scored from 2, 4, and 1 yards, and tied the mark with his
third touchdown early in the fourth quarter, rallying Kansas City
within 31-20.

Holmes is one score away from Marshall Faulk's record of 26 total touchdowns. He has 10 touchdowns in his last four games.

In addition to his 25 rushing scores, Holmes has gained 1,370 yards on 300 carries this season, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. He also has 72 receptions for 684 yards.
