HOUSTON -- A Houston man was arrested in connection with the home invasion robbery of Houston Texans cornerback Dunta Robinson when police noted the man had Robinson's stolen watch, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Robinson identified the suspect, Terrence Johnson, in a lineup, Terriann Carlson, a spokeswoman for the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, told the Houston Chronicle.
According to authorities, Johnson had the watch when he was picked up in an unrelated incident on Friday.
"That was one of the items taken during the home invasion," Carlson told the newspaper.
According to police, on Sept. 1, two men armed with pistols robbed Robinson, 25, at his home in the gated Sienna Plantation community near Missouri City, Texas. The men, wearing bandanas across their faces, allegedly confronted Robinson, bound him with duct tape, and stole some jewelry before leaving the house, the newspaper reported.
Johnson was being taken to the Fort Bend County Jail late Friday on a warrant for aggravated robbery, Carlson told the newspaper. The second suspect in the robbery is still at large and the investigation is continuing, police said.
Robinson could not be reached for comment, the Chronicle reported.
