Houston hired its general manager and head coach out of Denver and now is poised to do the same for its offensive coordinator.
The Broncos gave permission to the Texans to interview Denver offensive line coach Rick Dennison.
"I've got Rick coming in [Sunday] night and will be with him all day [Monday]," Texans head coach Gary Kubiak told KRIV-TV in Houston.
It's considered a formality that Dennison will wind up replacing former Texans offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, who is leaving Houston to join his father Mike Shanahan with the Washington Redskins.
Dennison and Kubiak are best friends, and Kubiak doesn't need to interview him so much as he does simply sign him.
