News: 12 hours agoKirk caught four of five targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-5 win over the Texans.
Spin: The fourth-year receiver remains on pace for a career year despite the embarrassment of riches on the Arizona roster available for Kyler Murray to throw to. The 24-year-old is taking aim at 70 catches, 1,000 yards and 10 TDs, numbers he's never reached before, and even with Zach Ertz slotting in for Maxx Williams (knee) alongside DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green, Kirk should continue to make an impact for the Cardinals. He'll look to find the end zone for the third game in a row in Week 8 against the Packers.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kirk is entering his fourth year with Arizona having fallen short of expectations thus far in his young career. The 2018 second-round pick has yet to play more than 14 games in a season and has ranked near the basement in YPRR each of the past two seasons. He peaked with a 68-709-3 receiving line and was WR38 in fantasy back in 2019, but that required a very generous 24% target share (16th highest). Kirk's usage dipped with DeAndre Hopkins in the fold in 2020 (8.1 to 5.5 targets per game) and may again in 2021 with A.J. Green and rookie Rondale Moore added to the mix. Kirk is only 24 years old, but even in a good Arizona offense, he's a longshot for consistent flex production. At best, he's worth a late draft pick.
