News: 3 days agoParham (hamstring) is inactive Sunday against the Texans, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Spin: Parham was able to log a full practice Friday, but considering the time he has missed, the Chargers will make him wait at least one more week to return. In his absence, Gerald Everett will continue to operate as team's No. 1 tight end, while Tre' McKitty and Richard Rodgers provide depth.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Parham is back with the Chargers and enters 2022 in a very similar position as last season. Jared Cook is gone and Gerald Everett in atop the depth chart, leaving Parham to compete with second-year Tre' McKitty for situational work. Parham has posted 10-159-3 and 20-190-3 receiving lines during his two NFL campaigns. He's only 25 years old, so it's possible we've yet to see his best work, but he doesn't have any standalone value in his projected role. However, if Everett were to miss time, Parham very well could emerge as the top receiving TE in one of the league's top offenses. He's worth monitoring in deep and dynasty leagues.
