Spin: He saw more action on the ground than Myles Gaskin or Malcolm Brown (five carries each), but none of the trio was able to manage much in the way of production. On the season, Ahmed has yet to record a single game with at least 25 rushing yards.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Ahmed went undrafted last year, but the former Washington Husky leapt onto the fantasy radar when Myles Gaskin went down with an injury last season. In the three games in which he played at least 60% of the snaps, Ahmed totaled 291 yards and two TDs on 63 touches. He was fantasy's No. 7 RB those weeks. Ahmed was reduced to a complementary role once Gaskin returned and will compete with newcomer Malcolm Brown for No. 2 duties in 2021. The 22-year-old is no more than an insurance option and doesn't need to be drafted.
