News: 1 day agoTremble caught three of six targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 26-16 loss to the Cardinals.
Spin: Tremble had merely two receptions for eight yards entering Sunday's contest, so his output marked an encouraging improvement. As someone down the pecking order in a poor passing attack thus far, however, Tremble's fantasy value remains restricted.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Carolina selected Tremble in the third round of the 2021 draft and the team was so impressed by his progression that it traded starting TE Dan Arnold after Week 3. Tremble's playing time increased from Week 4 on, but his average of 2.7 targets per game led to a weak 19-150-1 receiving line and placed him 46th at the position in fantasy points. Tremble was utilized down field (8.4 aDOT was eighth highest), but struggled with efficiency, ranking among the bottom-three tight ends in catch rate, drop rate and yards per target. Tremble remains Carolina's top receiving TE and, with Baker Mayfield under center, is a candidate for a leap forward in his second season. He's worth a look in two-TE formats.
