Suffered bruised ribs in the Rams' playoff victory over Green Bay. X-rays taken Monday didn't show any broken ribs. He isn't expected to miss any practice time.

During pre-game warm-ups today, Bettis had in adverse reaction to an injection administered to him to help with his groin injury. The injection hit a nerve and wound up numbing much of one of Bettis' legs. Bettis told ESPN from his home Monday that he was fine and would play against the Patriots.

Left in the second quarter with a sprained left knee. Cowher said that an MRI on Holmes's sprained left knee revealed no significant damage and that Holmes also is expected to play Sunday, although he might be held out of practice Wednesday.
