Snowball's chance
Jimmy Johnson's first visit to the Vet as head coach of the Cowboys turned ugly. Johnson was pelted with snowballs and had to be escorted from the field by police after the game. One of those throwing snowballs from the 700 level that day was a lawyer named Ed Rendell. Rendell just happened to be the former district attorney of Philadelphia. His participation in the incident became big news. Two years later, Rendell was elected mayor of Philadelphia. The Eagles won the game 20-10.

Johnson, pictured here in 1990, was always a favorite of the Vet fans.
