Antonio Brown's agent Drew Rosenhaus tells ESPN's Adam Schefter he already has had communication "with a few teams that are interested" in his client and that they "want information regarding his legal situation and the NFL investigation." But other people around the league believe that until investigation is resolved, a deal is not likely to happen. Brown is currently an unrestricted free agent.

Projecting the Jets' inactive players for tomorrow against the Patriots: QB Sam Darnold, LB C.J. Mosley, DT Quinnen Williams, LB Jordan Jenkins, WR Demaryius Thomas, T Chuma Edoga and DL Jordan Willis. Analysis: Not too many tough decisions, as the first five on the list are injury-related. The LB corps is depleted. Neville Hewitt and rookie Blake Cashman are likely to start inside, with Harvey Langi and Tarell Basham the top OLBs.

DeMarcus Lawrence was fined $21,056 for his roughing the passer penalty last week against the Washington Redskins. Dorance Armstrong was not fined for his roughing the passer penalty.

Adam Thielen: $10,527 for unnecessary roughness (kicking a player). Kris Boyd: $28,075 for personal foul (helmet/late hit on punt returner Trevor Davis). Stefon Diggs: $10,527 for personal foul (removed helmet after TD).

The Lions have signed WR Marvin Hall and waived WR Chris Lacy — the presumed No. 4 WR out of training camp. Hall comes up from Detroit's practice squad. The Lions signed DE Jonathan Wynn to the practice squad.

As expected, Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was ruled out of a third consecutive game because of his concussion. Reserve linebacker Cassanova McKinzy (hip) also was ruled out for Monday's game vs. Chicago, which means newly-signed Noah Spence likely will play Monday. Defensive end Jonathan Allen (knee), who said Friday he was "100 percent" going to play, is listed as questionable. So, too, is corner Quinton Dunbar (knee). Safety Montae Nicholson (foot) was a full participant Saturday.

Da'Shawn Hand (elbow) now OUT for Lions on Sunday against Philly. He did a little more in practice this week but seems like it'll be another week for him at least. He has yet to play this year.

Eagles promoted WR Greg Ward from the practice squad to the active roster and placed T Jordan Mailata on Injured Reserve.

Lane Taylor (biceps) is headed to injured reserve. So the left guard job belongs Elgton Jenkins for as long as he can keep it. Versatile backup Adam Pankey takes Taylor's spot on the 53.

Browns elevating LB Willie Harvey from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Replaces injured starter Christian Kirksey

Lost in the shuffle of Antonio Brown's release is how the Patriots have a string of injuries on offense that could handcuff coordinator Josh McDaniels on Sunday against the Jets. FB James Develin (neck) is out, and there is no backup FB unless the team promotes Jakob Johnson from the practice squad. Also, starting right tackle Marcus Cannon (shoulder) will be close to a game-time decision, according to offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia, while veteran Marshall Newhouse -- signed 11 days ago -- will start at left tackle. And then there's the tight end spot, where Matt LaCosse (ankle) and Ryan Izzo (calf), are both questionable. The likely result is a lot of 3-WR packages with Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett.

It's a big week for the Giants. Their future franchise quarterback is also the starter now. Asked Saquon Barkley if he had any advice for Daniel Jones and he said, "Be you!" WR Bennie Fowler was also telling me when Jones throws that first TD pass the sideline is going to be hype. There is a palpable energy around this team that has not been there for a while. Sort of like a fresh start.
