Keith Rivers out with groin injury

Buffalo Bills starting outside linebacker Keith Rivers is expected to miss at least two games with a groin injury, a source told ESPN.com.

A second source confirmed Rivers will not play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and could miss more time. His status will be monitored week by week.

Rivers started in Buffalo's Week 1 overtime victory over the Chicago Bears and made four tackles before getting injured. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, according to the team's injury report.

The six-year veteran has started 48 games at linebacker with the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants and Bills.
