Jaguars DE Chris Clemons to participate in minicamp

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Veteran defensive end Chris Clemons has reported to the Jacksonville Jaguars' facility and will participate in this week's mandatory minicamp.

Had he skipped the three-day minicamp, which runs Tuesday-Thursday, Clemons was facing a fine of up to $72,920, according to the NFL's collective bargaining agreement.

Clemons was the only player that did not participate in the Jaguars' nine voluntary organized team activities.

Clemons missed the first three OTAs of 2014 but reported in shape and went on to finish second on the team with 8.0 sacks. He is entering his second season with the Jaguars. He signed a four-year, $17.5 million contract ($5.475 million guaranteed) last March after playing 10 seasons with Washington, Oakland, Philadelphia and Seattle.
