Arizona Cardinals rookie outside linebacker Zack Wagenmann will miss the 2015 season after suffering an injury in a training camp practice, according to a league source.
Wagenmann was projected by some teams as a possible mid-to-late round selection, until he suffered a Jones fracture in his right foot during a pre-draft private workout for an undisclosed team in late April.
Wagenmann, who signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent, was placed on the active/non-football injury list to begin training camp. He was removed from the list Aug. 1.
However, tests taken in recent days showed he had suffered another break to his right foot. He did not play in the Cardinals' first preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
