GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals left guard Mike Iupati is likely to have arthroscopic knee surgery this week, a procedure that will sideline him six to eight weeks, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Earlier Wednesday, coach Bruce Arians said Iupati was seeing a doctor after his knee swelled. Iupati left Tuesday's practice and did not return.
Iupati, a Pro Bowler the last three seasons, signed a five-year, $40 million contract with the Cardinals as a free agent in March. He spent the first five years of his career with San Francisco.
