Tyrod Taylor, family offended by report about diamond mouthpiece, agent says

The agent for Tyrod Taylor said the Buffalo Bills' quarterback and his family were offended by a report that said Taylor would wear a diamond-studded mouthpiece this season.

Taylor's agent, Adisa Bakari, told ESPN on Monday that the report by TMZ was "a complete fabrication."

The report said Taylor contacted Michael Wright -- described by TMZ as the "dentist to the stars" -- to create the mouthpiece, but Bakari told ESPN that Taylor has never spoken to Wright -- even in a lighthearted way -- about a diamond-studded mouthpiece.

Bakari also said Taylor and his family were "offended" by the notion that he would consider wearing a diamond-studded mouthpiece.

Taylor will make his first career NFL start Sunday when the Bills host the Indianapolis Colts in their regular-season opener.
