GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers got some good news for their offense on Sunday, but bad news for their defense.
The day before Monday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Packers upgraded the status of running back Eddie Lacy and receiver Davante Adams, both with ankle injuries, to probable. They were originally listed as questionable Sunday.
However, they will be without starting strong safety Morgan Burnett, who was downgraded from questionable to out because of the calf injury he suffered in practice on Friday. It's the same injury that kept him out Week 1 against the Chicago Bears.
The changes came after the Packers held a brief practice Sunday morning.
That's not the only concern in the secondary. Cornerback Sam Shields was added to the injury report with a calf injury but was listed as probable.
