Steelers' Todd Haley plans for Landry Jones to make first start Sunday

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was limited for the second consecutive practice Thursday, increasing the likelihood of Landry Jones making his first NFL start Sunday.

Offensive coordinator Todd Haley told reporters he's planning for Jones to start Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jones threw for two touchdowns in relief of Mike Vick last Sunday in a 25-13 win over Arizona.

Roethlisberger is in the fourth week of rehab for a sprained MCL. He is wearing a knee brace to stabilize the sprain.

Players said Roethlisberger has looked crisp at practice this week, but the team is prepping Jones with first-team reps.
