Matt Ryan reaches 30,000 career passing yards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan surpassed 30,000 passing yards for his career during the second quarter of Sunday's 10-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.

He entered the game with 29,917 yards and surpassed 30,000 with a 2-yard pass to Julio Jones. Ryan finished the contest with 251 yards passing, pushing his career tally to 30,168.

Ryan is the fifth fastest to reach 30,000 yards, behind Dan Marino, Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers. This is Ryan's 117th career game since entering the league in 2008 out of Boston College.

The 30-year-old Ryan is the fourth-youngest to reach 30,000 yards, according to ESPN Stats & Information, behind Marino, Manning and Brett Favre.
