"We have a sign in the locker room that says what you see and hear in here stays here," Pagano said Thursday. "I don't think anybody should air our dirty laundry outside this building, to be quite frank and honest with you."
Hilton said Tuesday that Chudzinski has not been using the Colts' speed at receiver by throwing deep more often.
"Donte [Moncrief], me, Phil [Phillip Dorsett], we're fast guys, and we're not going down the field like how we're supposed to be," Hilton said. "Running stick routes, chain routes, we can we do that, but at some point you have to take your shot and get the defense going back. The throws have been there, but we haven't been calling them."
The offensive line has struggled with protection and blocking in the running game, which has made it difficult for the Colts to stretch the field.
"I've always said that you've got to take your chunk plays, take your shots down the field in every single ballgame, and sometimes it's easier than others," Pagano said.
Pagano would not say what was said to Hilton about his comments.
"I'm not going to go into details how we handle things, but there's a right way to do stuff and a wrong way," Pagano said.
