Last season, Schofield was the only offensive lineman to start every game for the Los Angeles Chargers, playing 995 snaps at right guard.
Selected in the third round of the 2014 draft by the Broncos, Schofield played three seasons in Denver, winning a Super Bowl during the 2015 season before being waived during final roster cuts in 2017. He was claimed in September 2017 by the Chargers.
In five NFL seasons, Schofield has played in 76 games, with 66 starts.
Schofield, 29, is married to U.S. women's hockey forward Kendall Coyne Schofield, who won a gold medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics after beating Canada in the final.
