The New England Patriots face the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night. It's just the second time the two teams have faced off since meeting in Super Bowl LI in February 2017.
What happened in that Super Bowl? Well, if you're unaware of memes or, perhaps like many Atlanta fans, you have blocked this result from your mind, the Patriots came back from a 28-3 deficit in the third quarter to win the game 34-28 in overtime. It's the largest comeback in Super Bowl history and its haunting memory lives on as one of the most painful losses in NFL history.
Tom Brady, who threw for 466 yards and two scores, was the game's MVP. Receiver Julian Edelman was on the receiving end of five of Brady's passes. Brady is now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Edelman is retired.
On Thursday, Edelman showed where he'll be "sitting" while he enjoys Thursday Night Football.
