Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall, who has an injured hamstring, did not play Sunday despite being active in a limited capacity against the Tennessee Titans.
Reserve running backs Jonathan Dwyer and Isaac Redman combined to run for 156 yards in place of Mendenhall.
Earlier Sunday, sources told ESPN's Josina Anderson that Mendenhall would miss the game, barring any unforeseen changes.
Dwyer saw time because the Steelers' usual third-down back, Mewelde Moore, was out with an ankle injury.
The Steelers won 38-17 behind Ben Roethlisberger's five touchdown passes.
