Sources: RG III cleared to start

As anticipated, Washington Redskins doctors cleared quarterback Robert Griffin III to start Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to two league sources.

The Redskins are comfortable with the doctor's decision and plan to have Griffin start one game after fellow rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins took over and led Washington to a road win against the Browns.

The Redskins do not believe there will be many limitations on Griffin, who is recovering from a sprained right knee, as they try to capture the NFC East title with wins in the season's final two weeks.

Griffin went through a full practice Friday for the third straight day and was listed as probable on the team's injury report.
