No picks in supplemental draft

No players were selected in Thursday's supplemental draft, leaving the six eligible players free to sign as a free agent with interested teams.

The news was announced by NFL vice president of communications Michael Signora on Twitter.

Four defensive players -- defensive end James Boyd and defensive tackle Nate Holloway, both from UNLV, Central Florida defensive end Toby Jackson and South Alabama defensive back Damond Smith -- and two receivers -- Houston's DeWayne Peace and Purdue's O.J. Ross -- were eligible to be selected.

Receiver Josh Gordon was the only player selected in the supplemental draft last year, by the Cleveland Browns, which used a second-round pick to acquire him.
