Locker suffered the injury to his right hip in the third quarter on a hit by Jets defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson.
After undergoing X-rays, Locker was loaded into an ambulance and sent to the hospital for further evaluation.
Locker's father, Scott, was at the game and was with his son at the hospital. He talked to offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains after the game.
"He said Jake was doing good, waiting to see, at the hospital getting an MRI," Loggains said.
Locker spent the night in the hospital, according to a report by The Associated Press.
Before the injury, Locker completed 18 of 24 passes for 149 yards with three touchdowns and a 130.0 passer rating. It is the first three-TD game of his career.
Locker gave a slight wave as the cart neared the tunnel exiting the field. Veteran backup Ryan Fitzpatrick took his place and went 3-for-8 for 108 yards and a touchdown.
