49ers' Garoppolo has 'slightly' sprained shoulder

Niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a "slightly" sprained right shoulder in Sunday's win over the Cowboys, but coach Kyle Shanahan expects him to be ready to go Saturday against the Packers.

The last four games between the Packers and 49ers have been 58 degrees or warmer. Per ESPN Stats & Info: Since 2014 there have been 101 different QBs to start a game with kickoff temps below 40 degrees, and Jimmy Garoppolo is not one of them. In that same time, 122 different QBs have thrown a pass with kickoff temps below 40, and Garoppolo is not one of them. The one game in that timespan San Fran played in below 40 was in 2018 at Green Bay. C.J. Beathard started and lost 33-30.
