The Saints' offense actually showed more life in the first half than it has in recent weeks – but it wasn't enough as they trail 13-7 at halftime. One promising drive ended with a 56-yard FG miss. Another ended with a spectacular Cowboys interception after Taysom Hill tried to fire a deep ball to WR Kenny Stills in too much traffic and it tipped off his hands. Hill has been decent, highlighted by a 24-yard TD pass to WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey. But he is just 12 of 21 for 144 yards.

Jones is a healthy scratch — which means that RB Mark Ingram II should see a heavy workload, with added involvement from RB/WR Ty Montgomery II.
