Jets get: No. 4 overall pick
Bears get: No. 13 and No. 22 picks, plus a fourth-round pick (No. 116)
The fallout: The Jets paid a big price, but got the guy they wanted in Kentucky DT Dewayne Robertson. The Bears just wanted more picks. Said Bears GM Jerry Angelo: "We liked our options better having the extra first-round pick rather than staying at four. We now have three of the top 35 picks in the draft and are confident we will get three quality players.'' After trading down one more spot to No. 14, the Bears selected Penn State DE Michael Haynes and grabbed Florida QB Rex Grossman with the 22nd pick.


Saints get: No. 6 overall pick, plus Arizona's second-round pick (No. 37) and fourth-round pick (No. 102).
Cardinals get: No. 17 and No. 18 picks, plus New Orleans' second-round pick (No. 54)
The fallout: While most expected Terrell Suggs to go to the Cardinals, Arizona traded down to the Saints, who surprisingly selected Georgia DT Johnathan Sullivan. The Cardinals used the first pick of the two picks to fill the void at receiver left by David Boston's departure to San Diego and took Penn State WR Bryant Johnson. With the 18th pick, the Cardinals took Wake Forest DE Calvin Pace.


Patriots get: No. 13 overall pick.
Bears get: No. 14 and New England's sixth-round pick (No. 193)
The fallout: With five defensive linemen selected in the first 12 picks, New England didn't want to miss out on another one and moved up to nab Texas A&M's Ty Warren. The Bears then selected Penn State DE Michael Haynes and later traded the sixth-round pick (No. 193).


Eagles get: No. 15 overall pick.
Chargers get: No. 30 and Philadelphia's second-round pick (No. 62).
The fallout: As the run on D-linemen continued, Philadelphia moved up to take Miami DE Jerome McDougle.The Chargers landed Texas A&M DB Sammy Davis with the 30th pick.


Steelers get: No. 16 overall pick.
Chiefs get: No. 27 overall and Pittsburgh's third-round pick (No. 92) and sixth-round pick (No. 200).
The fallout: Afraid USC's Troy Polamalu wouldn't last until its pick at No. 27, Pittsburgh moved up to get the hard-hitting safety. Meanwhile, the Chiefs were still able to land Penn State RB Larry Johnson as insurance for Priest Holmes. They later traded the sixth-round pick (No. 200).


Ravens get: No. 19 overall pick.
Patriots get: Baltimore's second-round pick (No. 41) and the Ravens' No. 1 pick in the 2004 draft.
The fallout: The Ravens couldn't let Terrell Suggs slip past them when he fell to No. 10, but Brian Billick still managed to get his quarterback of the future in Cal's Kyle Boller by making the deal with the Pats.


Patriots get: No. 36 overall pick and Houston's supplemental fourth-round pick (No. 117).
Texans get: New England's second-round pick (No. 41) and a third-round pick (No. 75).
The fallout: New England selected Eugene Wilson, DB, Illinois with the No. 36 pick. Houston selected Bennie Joppru, TE,
Michigan and Seth Wand, OT, Northwest Missouri.


Patriots get: No. 45 overall pick.
Panthers get: New England's second-round pick (No. 50) and a fourth-round pick (No. 120).
The fallout: New England selected Bethel Johnson, WR, Texas A&M. Carolina selected Bruce Nelson, C, Iowa. Ultimately, the Pats regained the 120th pick and selected UCF DB Asante Samuel.


Packers get: No. 79 overall pick.
Bills get: Green Bay's third-round pick (No. 94) and fourth-round pick (No. 127).
The fallout: Green Bay selected Kent Peterson, DT, Ohio St. Buffalo selected Angelo Crowell, LB, Virginia and grabbed North Carolina WR Sam Aiken at 127.


Panthers get: No. 82 overall pick.
Broncos get: A pair of Carolina's fourth-round pick (No. 108 and No. 120) and seventh-round pick (No. 227).
The fallout: Carolina selected Ricky Manning Jr. Denver selected Oklahoma RB Quentin Griffin at No. 108, traded the 120th pick and grabbed Florida DE Clint Mitchell at No. 227.


Raiders get: No. 83 overall pick and Carolina's seventh-round pick (No. 262).
Texans get: Oakland's second-round pick in the 2004 draft.
The fallout: Oakland selected Sam Williams, LB, Fresno St. and still has No. 272.


Patriots get: No. 120 overall pick.
Broncos get: New England's fourth-round pick (No. 128) and fifth-round pick (No. 157).
The fallout: New England selected UCF CB Asante Samuel. Denver selected Clemson DE Bryant McNeal with the 128th pick and took Mississippi C Ben Claxton with No. 157.


Colts get: No. 138 overall pick.
Texans get: Indianapolis' fourth-round pick in the 2004 draft.
The fallout: The Colts selected Alabama A&M DE Robert Mathis with the 138th pick.


Bears get: No. 143 overall pick.
Jaguars get: Chicago's sixth-round picks (Nos. 176 and 193) and a seventh-round pick (No. 218)
The fallout: The Bears gave up three late-round picks to move up to grab Missouri WR Justin Gage. Jacksonville selected Rice DE Brandon Green at 176, Howard T Marques Ogden at No. 193 and USC RB Malaefou Mackenzie at No. 218.


Packers get: No. 147 overall pick.
Seahawks get: Green Bay's fifth-round pick (No. 165) and sixth-round pick (No. 203).
The fallout: The Packers move up to grab Oregon State DT James Lee. Seattle selected Syracuse FB Chris Davis at 165 and USC WR Kareem Kelly at 203. They later traded Kelly for DT Norman Hand.


Jets get: No. 150 overall pick as well as KC's sixth-round pick (No. 200).
Chiefs get: New York's fifth-round pick (No. 153) and sixth-round pick (No. 189).
The fallout: The Jets grabbed Miami DT Matt Walters with the 150th pick and Wisconsin QB Brooks Bollinger at 200. Kansas City came back with Notre Dame T Jordan Black at 153 and Oklahoma DE Jimmy Wilkerson at 189.


Titans get: No. 154 overall pick and New England's seventh-round pick (No. 225).
Patriots get: Tennessee's fifth-round pick (No. 164), sixth-round pick (No. 201) and seventh-round pick (No. 243)
The fallout: Tennessee selected Ohio State S Donnie Nickey with pick No. 154. New England selected Boston College C Dan Koppen at No. 164, Texas Tech QB Kliff Kingsbury at 201 and Baylor NT Ethan Kelley at 243.


Packers get: No. 166 overall pick.
Eagles get: Green Bay's sixth-round pick (No. 185) and seventh-round pick (No. 244).
The fallout: The Packers selected Vanderbilt LB Hunter Hillenmeyer with the 166th pick. The Eagles selected Southern Miss T Jeremy Bridges at 185 and LSU S Norman LeJeune at No. 224.


Saints get: USC WR Kareem Kelly.
Seahawks get: DT Norman Hand.
The fallout: The Saints wanted the former Trojan wideout and gave up Norman Hand to get him.


Lions get: Arizona's seventh-round pick (No. 220).
Cardinals get: WR Larry Foster.
The fallout: The Cardinals get some receiver depth for the 220th pick in the draft. The Lions selected Cincinnati DB Blue Adams at No. 220.


Lions get: Dallas' seventh-round pick (No. 236).
Cowboys get: RB Aveion Cason.
The fallout: The Lions then selected Colorado FB Brandon Drumm with the pick they acquired from the Cowboys.


Packers get: Philadelphia's seventh-round pick (No. 245).
Eagles get: Green Bay's sixth-round pick in the 2004 draft.
The fallout: The Packers selected Louisville DB Chris Johnson with the pick.
