Toronto lost 2-1 to Detroit on Thursday
"Either game could have gone either way," Thomas said.
With Toronto goalie Curtis Joseph on the bench for an extra

Detroit.
"Too bad we didn't have another overtime to settle it," Wings
coach Scotty Bowman said.

stopped 31.
Draper, a Toronto native, tipped in Todd Gill's shot from the
point, giving Detroit a 1-0 lead 1:07 into the game. But Fedorov
wired a slap shot past Joseph with 34 seconds left in the first.

redirected it past Osgood later in the second period, bringing the
Leafs closer.
