Lindros keeping low profile

TORONTO -- Eric Lindros is the latest NHL player to skate with the York University hockey team.

York coach Graham Wise said Lindros is keeping a low profile.

"He's been very classy about the situation. He doesn't want to draw attention," Wise said.

Roger Neilson, who coached Lindros in Philadelphia and now is an assistant coach with the Ottawa Senators, maintains contact with Lindros, who hasn't been cleared to play in the NHL by doctors since suffering another concussion during the playoffs last spring.

"He's out there to skate and do the individual drills," Neilson said. "That's how he keeps his timing sharp, so if he gets the OK he'll be ready to go. He's hoping for another opportunity and he just wants to be ready when the opportunity comes."
