NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Nashville Predators made their third trade in five days Sunday, swapping a conditional pick in the 2003 draft to the Calgary Flames for right wing Jukka Hentunen.
Hentunen had two goals and three assists with Calgary and three goals and three assists in nine games with the Saint John Flames in the AHL. The 5-foot-10, 194-pound forward missed 18 games this season due to injury.
He has appeared in the last two World Championships with Finland. He was Calgary's seventh choice in the 2000 draft.
The Predators swapped their captain Tom Fitzgerald to the Chicago Blackhawks for a 2003 draft pick last Wednesday and traded leading scorer Cliff Ronning to the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday for defenseman Jere Karalahti. |
