Nashville's Weber out 3-6 weeks with dislocated knee cap

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Nashville Predators defenseman
Shea Weber will be out three to six weeks after dislocating his knee cap
in Thursday's 4-0 victory over Colorado.

The 22-year-old played only 2:19 of the opening period when he fell on the ice and caught his skate awkwardly. Weber has 108 points (19 goals, 31 assists) over the last two seasons in Nashville.

"Last night we were very fearful he had seriously hurt himself,
so three to six weeks is good news from our end," head coach Barry
Trotz said in a statement Friday.

Ville Koistinen, 25, will make his NHL debut Saturday in Weber's
spot against the Dallas Stars.
