ESPN Fantasy Projection: Vasilevskiy's the safest option among fantasy goalies, as he possesses an elite skill set and plays for a tremendous team. Igor Shesterkin unseated Vasilevskiy as the consensus best goalie in the world last year, but Vasilevskiy's Lightning still prevailed over Shesterkin's Rangers in the Eastern Conference Final before being denied a Stanley Cup three-peat by the Avalanche. Vasilevskiy's postseason accolades have been accompanied by plenty of regular-season success. He tied for the league lead with 39 wins last season, marking the third time in the past five years the 28-year-old Russian has notched at least that many victories, and Vasilevskiy has finished between 8th and 12th in GAA for each of the past four seasons. Still in his prime, Vasilevskiy should continue to post elite numbers for a Lightning team that projects to remain among the top contenders for the Stanley Cup.
