ESPN Fantasy Projection: Those hoping for a full-on breakout from Zegras in his second NHL season didn't get their wish in 2022-23. His offensive numbers (23G, 65P in 81GP) were right in line with what we saw in his 2021-22 rookie campaign, and Zegras' plus-minus rating (minus-24) was once again awful. On a more positive note, Zegras added 17 points with the man advantage and remained healthy. The Ducks are trending in the right direction, but it's likely going to be another few seasons before all their top prospects are ready to contribute. Fantasy managers would be wise not to overpay for Zegras on draft day. He remains more of a solid-floor player than a high-ceiling guy at this point.
