NEW YORK -- New York Rangers right winger Jason Ward will miss the rest of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the New Jersey Devils with a MCL sprain in his knee, the team announced Sunday.
Ward played less than three minutes in Saturday's 6-1 loss in the series opener.
During the regular season, Ward established career highs in games (81), goals (10), assists (18) and points (28).
Making their first playoff appearance in nine years, the Rangers will look to even the series at a game apiece Monday night.
