Goodbye, Great One
From fuzzy-faced teenager to 38-year-old father of three, hockey fans have watched Wayne Gretzky grow into not only the greatest hockey player of all time, but a great man. With skill, grace, charisma and passion, Gretzky took the game he loved and shared it with millions who wouldn't have cared if not for him. On his final day on the ice, the NHL decreed what every hockey fan already knew: There will never be another No. 99.
