The Philadelphia Flyers said captain Claude Giroux is fine and is expected to play Monday when the Winnipeg Jets come to town.

Giroux left late in Saturday night's game against Arizona with what was thought to be a head injury.

The Flyers are holding onto the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand on the ninth-place Detroit Red Wings.

Both teams have 85 points, and neither was in action Sunday.
