With rugby league on hold all over the world, fans of the great game are scratching their heads, wandering aimlessly about the house, wondering how to fill the emptiness inside them.
But they need not worry.

10. 1999 Grand Final - Melbourne Storm vs. St George Illawarra Dragons
The first decider at the newly constructed Olympic Stadium saw nearly 110,000 people pack in to see the Storm take on the Dragons. The Dragons looked to have the title in the bag leading 14-0 at the break before Anthony Mundine missed an opportunity to seal the match in the second half. With the score 18-14 and only minutes remaining a Storm bomb to the in-goal area resulted in a penalty try after Jamie Ainscough nearly removed the head of Storm winger Craig Smith. The conversion from in front saw the Storm become the fastest expansion club to claim a premiership, winning in only their second year.
9. 1991 Minor Semi-final - Canberra Raiders vs. Manly Sea Eagles
Two of the heavyweights of the time met at the SFS in a point-scoring feast of a semi-final that neither side deserved to lose. The Raiders worked their way to an early lead before the Sea Eagles, who had lost half Geoff Toovey to an early eye injury, fought their way back into the game. In the second half a couple of Raiders tries seemed to have wrapped up the match with the score at 28-14, but the Sea Eagles wouldn't surrender. They scored two tries of their own to narrow the gap to two points, before a late Raiders try saw them progress on their way to back-to-back Grand Final appearances.
8. 2010 Preliminary Final - St George Illawarra Dragons vs. Wests Tigers
The Dragons were minor premiers under the leadership of super coach Wayne Bennett and their fans fully expected them to win the premiership. The Tigers stood between them and a Grand Final appearance against the Sydney Roosters. In an arm wrestle of a match, the Dragons managed to level the scores at 12-12 late in the game. Often derided halfback Jamie Soward became the Dragons' hero sealing the match with a field goal in the dying minutes. The Dragons would go on to beat the Roosters and claim that elusive title.
7. 1998 Preliminary Final - Parramatta Eels vs Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs
The 1998 Eels were on their way to a Grand Final showdown with Brisbane Broncos, leading 18-2 with only ten minutes remaining in their Preliminary Final against the Bulldogs. What followed was either the greatest collapse or best fightback ever seen, depending on which team you supported. With three minutes remaining Bulldogs centre Willie Talau crossed in the corner and Daryl Harrigan slotted the equaliser from the sideline. The game was forced into extra time, the Eels with no answer for the momentum shift as the Bulldogs ran away to win 32-20.
6. 2015 Grand Final - Brisbane Broncos vs. Nth Queensland Cowboys
The Queensland club rivals had a series of closely contested games, but none bigger than the 2015 decider. Led by Johnathan Thurston, the Cowboys were desperate to claim their first premiership title after coming so close in 2005. The Broncos raced to 8-0 early, before the Cowboys fought back to lead 12-8. With six minutes remaining in the half the Broncos scored a try to lead 14-12 at the break. In the second half the Broncos kicked a penalty goal to extend their lead to 16-12, before a desperate late try by the Cowboys leveled the scores. Thurston had a kick from the sideline to win it, which he missed, but the halfback redeemed himself with the winning field goal in golden point extra time.
5. 2010 Qualifying Final - Sydney Roosters vs. Wests Tigers
Wests Tigers were the better of the two teams taking a 10-2 lead into the break after missing several chances to increase that lead. A try and a field goal in the second half saw the Tigers extend their lead to 13 points, before two Roosters tries made the Robbie Farah field goal look like a stroke of genius. With the Roosters on the attack down 15-14 and the siren sounding, Braith Anasta leveled the scores with a field goal of his own. The NRL's first ever golden point extra time final was won by the Roosters thanks to a Shaun-Kenny Dowall intercept try after several heart-in-mouth field goal attempts.
4. 1997 ARL Grand Final - Newcastle Knights vs. Manly Sea Eagles
The Super League war had torn Australian rugby league in half and the ARL badly needed to finish the 1997 season on a high as the Newcastle Knights lined up against Manly hoping to claim their first premiership title. The fiercely contested, often brutal, Grand Final went right down to the wire, with Andrew Johns famously setting up the winning Darren Albert try with seconds remaining. The instant classic sent the whole of Newcastle into party mode and totally eclipsed the 1997 Super League Grand Final between the Sharks and Broncos, which has faded into relative obscurity.
3. 1994 State of Origin - Game 1
You could choose from any of the 110 State of Origin games played and not be disappointed, but one stands out as the epitome of the annual interstate series. With five minutes to go NSW led 12-4 and were seemingly home before a converted Willie Carne try gave the Maroons a sniff. As was often the case over the years, a sniff was all Queensland needed. They were camped deep inside their own half with seconds remaining before Mark Coyne finished off the "miracle" try, the ball travelling the length and breadth of the SFS.
2. 1990 Second Test - Great Britain vs. Australia
If monumental international battles are your thing, you can't go past the second Test of the 1990 Kangaroos tour of England. After losing the first Test 18-12 at Wembley, the Kangaroos were on the rack with the Ashes on the line in the second Test at Old Trafford. With 10 minutes left Great Britain drew level at 10-10 following an intercept try. With the Kangaroos pinned to their line and time running out, they scored one of the greatest Test tries ever seen to secure victory. They went on to win the decider in Leeds and retain the Ashes.
1. 1989 Grand Final - Balmain Tigers vs. Canberra Raiders
The 1989 Grand Final has long been rated one of the best ever deciders, but as a game it had everything the rugby league-deprived fan needs. Big hits; fluid ball movement; some of the best players to ever grace a field; extra time and more drama than a Home and Away season finale. Benny Elias hit the cross bar with a field goal attempt that could have sealed victory. Mick Neil was ankle tapped with the line wide open; the Tigers did everything bar win. The Raiders managed to fight back from a 12-2 halftime deficit to level the scores at 14 right on fulltime. The Green Machine was too good in extra time, wrapping up the title 19-14.
