TORONTO -- Wayne Gretzky will present the Canadian Olympic hockey team Saturday at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

With eight players already selected, Canada will complete its 23-man roster for the Salt Lake City Olympics.

The eight players already selected are defensemen Rob Blake of Colorado, Chris Pronger of St. Louis and Scott Niedermayer of New Jersey, and forwards Mario Lemieux of Pittsburgh, Joe Sakic of Colorado, Paul Kariya of Anaheim, Owen Nolan of San Jose and Steve Yzerman of Detroit.

The United States will announce its full roster Dec. 19 during the ESPN telecast of the New Jersey-New York Rangers game. The U.S. team has already selected 15 players.

The deadline for naming full rosters is Dec. 22.
