STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker's 18 points led France past Russia 76-69 Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the European Basketball Championship.

Larry Bird presented Parker with the game MVP award.

France (4-0) will play defending champion Serbia and Montenegro or Lithuania in the semifinals.

France, which never has won the European title, led Russia by 15 with four minutes left. But Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko led a 11-0 run for the Russians that made it 70-66.
