Creighton senior Doug McDermott will attend the USA Basketball men's national team minicamp next week in Las Vegas.
McDermott is one of 30 players who will attend the camp and one of only two non-NBA players. Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart accepted an invitation earlier this week.
"It will be a great opportunity for me to play against some of the elite young NBA players and learn from some of the best coaches," McDermott said in a statement.
Earlier this month, McDermott played with the USA squad at the World University Games, where he led the team in scoring at 14.1 points per game.
The camp concludes with the USA Basketball Showcase intrasquad game July 25 at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Arena.
