Jim Craig's Olympic gold medal from the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" hockey team failed to meet its reserve price and did not sell after a monthlong auction through the online auction house Lelands.com.
Craig's gold medal had a pre-sale estimate of $1.5 million to $2 million. The jersey Craig wore during the United States' upset of Russia also did not meet the reserve price.
The iconic goalie mask Craig wore during the game did sell for $137,000.
Craig's stick was sold for $60,000, his pads for $23,000 and his skates for $17,000.
The items were auctioned individually after Lelands was unable to sell the entire collection last year.
