Discus champ Sadova banned two years for doping

MONTE CARLO, Monaco -- Olympic discus champion Natalya
Sadova was banned for two years by the IAAF on Tuesday for a second
doping violation.

The 34-year-old Russian tested positive for the steroid
methandienone at a meet in Hengelo, Netherlands, on May 28. The
IAAF said she is eligible to compete again July 6, 2008.

Sadova was stripped of her 2001 world title and received a
public warning after testing positive for caffeine.

Sadova won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, as well
as a silver medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
