Track record: Faircloth has fished two BASS events on the Alabama River and none on Lake Jordan (where BASS has never held a professional tournament). At the 2003 Alabama Showdown, he finished 40th out of 50 anglers. At the 2004 Elite 50 event on the river, he finished 16th.

Notes: Faircloth has been remarkably steady in 2009. His best Elite finish came at Lake Wheeler where he was ninth; his worst finish was a very respectable 44th at Dardanelle. He made three cuts to the final 12. He has six career top 25 finishes in the Angler of the Year race and three top 10 finishes. He'll be fishing his eighth Bassmaster Classic in 2010. His best Classic finish was fifth in 2001. Faircloth will be trying to make up for a disappointing finish down the stretch in 2008. Going into the final tournament, he led the AOY race, but a dismal performance at Oneida Lake cost him the title.
