Track record: Swindle has fished just one BASS event on the postseason waters. He was 11th in the 2004 Elite 50 tournament on the Alabama River.

Notes: Swindle was the 2004 Bassmaster Angler of the Year and the only AOY who has never won a BASS event. Swindle has finished second in three tournaments, most recently at the 2005 Busch Shootout. He'll be fishing his 10th Bassmaster Classic in 2010. He has two top 5 finishes in the Classic, but the last time it was on Lay Lake (2007), Swindle was disqualified on the second day for unsafe boating, ending his tournament and dropping him to 45th in the standings. Swindle and Randy Howell are the only two Alabama residents in the Toyota 12. This may give them a "home field" advantage. A strong finish in BASS' inaugural postseason will put Swindle in the millionaire's club and make him the only member of that exclusive group who has never won a BASS event.
