Antarctica

Travel to the most remote islands on the planet, the Falkland Islands and South Georgia Islands lie between the tip of South America and Antarctica and offer some of the most incredibly unique photographic opportunities anywhere. Actor Michael Gross (Family Ties) and world-renowned photographer Chris Rainier travel to these polar islands to capture images of up to seven types of penguins and the largest bird on earth, the Wandering Albatross. For this episode, see up close and intimate images of Rockhopper and Magellanic penguins on the hillsides of the Falklands Islands. Later in the episode the voyage to the Antarctic resumes as the photo safari sails into the spectacular South Georgia Islands to photograph the magnificent King penguins.
Michael and Chris take photos of animals in Antarctica.
