Michael Gross and Chris Rainier's incredible expedition to the Antarctic resumes as the photo safari sails into the spectacular glacier covered South Georgia Islands to photograph the magnificent King penguins. See the paradise that is Gold Harbor and the 200,000 King penguins and fur seals that call it home. The largest wingspan of any bird on earth, the Giant Albatross is the subject of our roving lenses among the sand and tussock grasses of South Georgia. Michael and Chris also pay homage to the heroic polar explorer Ernest Shackleton with a visit to his grave at the old whaling port of Gryfieken (pronounced: Griff - Fee- Ken).
